SWL My Rig / SetUp
Biography
In the early 90s I bought a simple CB radio and started with a Dirland Europa 1, then a Midland Alan 58e, followed by the the Midland Alan 48+ and 78+.
In 1995 I decided to also buy a scanner with a wide frequency range, it became the Yupiteru MVT-7100, which eventually resulted in listening to some HF conversations.
In the early 2000s I decided to stop the hobby. However, in 2023 an old friend reached out to me, he convinced me to start with Meshtastic. My first node was bought and around the same time I decided to use my RTL-SDR v4 for HF. A Youloop antenna was bought, including a Mini Whip, and here I am as a SWL.
Owner of the Meshtastic Netherlands Community site MeshNet www.meshnet.nl (Dutch) my own personal (node) page on MeshNet MeshNet.NL Meshtastic Netherlands Community.
